I am a shoes person. I love shoes, all shoes and I love everything about them, especially really fun shoes. While I was perusing typegoodness.com, which is full of amazingness, I stumbled upon something that combined two things I love, type and shoes.
Although I would not use this type in anything( I cannot think of anything it could be used for off the top of my head) I think it is awesome that someone found such a great use for a high heel(besides looking good and causing pain). I really enjoy it when people find such random inspiration and creation in such everyday things.

Love love love this. I can't think of anywhere where I could see this type being used, but I love how they thought of a different way to use the shoe or a part of the shoe for each letter. So creative.
ReplyDeleteYeah shoes! approve.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best parts about this is the sparkle on the type, I think. Maybe, just maybe, you could find a way to incorporate the typeface in a dropcap....
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this, I instantly thought of how you used a high heel in your "Where to get things fixed" feature that ran last week...so cool!
ReplyDeleteSo girle and artistic at the same time!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I would never use it, but I would frame it as art for sure. I can see that happening too... my future home's art hanging on the walls will only be framed typography...
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Critters typeface - http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2008/05/critter_font_by_craig_frazier.html - not really very useful, but might be good for art in a kids room...
